Lorraine Edsena Mountjoy was born June 8, 1920 at Wolbach, Nebraska, the daugher of Sena and Edwin Johnson, and departed this life on Sunday, January 6, 1957 at a Chicago hospital at the age of 36 years, 6 months and 28 days. She was baptized and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolbach. Loraine attended all twelve years of school at Wolbach, graduating from high school in 1938. She attended Colorado Women's College for two years and in December 1942, graduated from Iowa State College as a dietician. she served her internship in Philadephia. She also was a dietician at Ann Arbor, Michigan, Sioux City, Iowa and was chief dietician at St. Joseph's Hospital in Omaha, until her retirement. Her marriage to Wallace C. Mountjoy took place January 3, 1953 at Fremont. She was preceded in death by an infant brother. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband; her parents; a brother, Clyde of Oklahoma city; other relatives and many friends.
