Description	:	Lorraine Schukar 06/08/2005 GOTHENBURG - Lorraine Schukar, 86, of Gothenburg, died June 6, 2005, at the Gothenburg Memorial Hospital. She was born April 16, 1919, in Etna, to Frank and Martha Olsen Cole. She graduated from Gothenburg High School in 1935. She attended the Kearney Normal School and taught for four years, after college. Lorraine worked with her husband, Lloyd, on the farm for many years before moving into Gothenburg in 1959. She enjoyed her bridge luncheons and she and Lloyd especially enjoyed dancing. She was born April 16, 1919, in Etna, to Frank and Martha Olsen Cole. She graduated from Gothenburg High School in 1935. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Schukar of Gothenburg; a daughter, Lorretta (David) Beck of Sandy, Utah; three grandchildren, Lonny (Lisa) Beck of Marion, Iowa, Shane (Sonja) Beck of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Melissa Lorraine Beck of Long Beach, Calif.; three great-grandchildren, Leah and Lindsey Beck of Marion , Iowa and Kendra Beck of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Norma Cole of Callaway; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and five sisters. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Blase Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg with the Rev. Larry Viter officiating. There will be a private family inurnment at a later date.
