Description	:	WINSLOW - Lorraine M. Breton, 84, a longtime resident of upper Halifax Street in Winslow, died at Mount St. Joseph nursing home in Waterville on February 13, 2009. She was born in Winslow in 1924 to Joachim and Olivine (Tardiff) Giguere. She was a graduate of the Winslow High School, class of 1942, and married the late Lionel N. Breton of Lac Drolet, Quebec, in 1957 at St. John's Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother and wife and was married to her late husband for 49 years before his passing in 2007. Breton, 84, a longtime resident of upper Halifax Street in Winslow, died at Mount St. Joseph nursing home in Waterville on February 13, 2009. She was born in Winslow in 1924 to Joachim and Olivine (Tardiff) Giguere. She was a graduate of the Winslow High School, class of 1942, and married the late Lionel N. Breton of Lac Drolet, Quebec, in 1957 at St. John's Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother and wife and was married to her late husband for 49 years before his passing in 2007. She is survived by her sons, Luke and his wife, Carla, of Stratham, N.H., Denis and wife Claire of South China, and Nelson and wife Jennifer of Windham. She was one of seven children and is survived by her sisters Georgette, Priscilla and Jacqueline. She was predeceased by her sister Yvette and brothers Henry and Rene.S he was a longtime bookkeeper at Waterville Hardware and Sherwin Williams Paints. She also served as secretary for the Elks Ladies Auxiliary and was an active member of St. John's Parish in Winslow.
