Visitation will be 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 18, at Stonacek Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Osmond. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Osmond, with the Rev. Glen Emery officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Plainview, Nebraska. Lorrene Katherine Blunck was born November 28, 1920, in Osmond, the daughter of Carl and Frieda (Pruess) Blunck. She was baptized in 1921, at the Presbyterian Church in Osmond by the Rev. L. P. Sullenberger. She was confirmed on May 5, 1942, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Osmond by the Rev. Eric Holstein. She attended school at District #61 through the eighth grade. She married Milford Carl Schultze on June 4, 1941, at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. The couple farmed north of Osmond. Milford preceded her in death on June 5, 1969. Lorrene continued to live on the farm, until 2000 when she moved to Osmond. She moved into Pierce Manor in 2009 and then to Plainview Manor in 2012. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Osmond, Ladies Aid and the Sunny Dale Club. She enjoyed quilting. Surviving are one daughter, Janet (Randy) Pfanstiel of Osmond; four sons, Larry (Norma) Schultze of Hillsboro, TX, Donald (Joan) Schultze of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Dennis (Sharon) Schultze of Osmond and Virgil (Claudia) Schultze of Plainview; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; and one brother, Eugene Blunck of Santa Maria, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two infant sisters, one daughter-in-law, Faye Schultze and one grandson, Richard Schultze. Stonacek Memorial Chapel Funeral Home
