Description	:	Milford C. Schultze, 50, of rural Osmond, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 5, 1969, of a heart attack while stacking hay at his farm two miles north of Osmond. Mr. Schultze was a sufferer from asthma, but had no known heart condition. He was brought to the Schultze home by his son Virgil, who was helping in the haying operation. Together with Mrs. Schultzer, they rushed Mr. Schultze to the Osmond General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Milford Carl Schultze was born July 10, 1918, in Plainview, the son of Ernest and Emma (Ziegfeld) Schultze. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith by Rev. J. Holstein in Plainview. He married Lorrene Katherine Blunck on June 4, 1941, at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. Together they farmed north of Osmond. He was a member of the Golgotha Church in Wausa. Surviving are his wife, Lorrene; four sons, Larry Schultze of Victorville, CA, Donald Schultze of Elmwood Park, IL, Dennis Schultze serving in the Air Force at Wichita, KS, and Virgil Schultze at home; one daughter, Janet Schultze at home; three grandchildren; his mother, Emma Schultze; three brothers, Martin, Lester and Harold Schultze; and two sisters, Mildred Carlson and Velda Blank. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Herbert Schultze in infancy. The Osmond Republican, June 11, 1969
