Description	:	Lorri Marie Prevost passed away at her home in Lansford, ND on December 21, 2021. Funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Kenmare on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11:00. Lorri was born on March 11, 1961 to Dale and Carol Byrd of Kenmare. She attended school in Kenmare and graduated in 1979. She was joined in marriage to her loving husband and partner William Prevost on June 9, 1979. Read More	Lorri Marie Prevost passed away at her home in Lansford, ND on December 21, 2021. Funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Kenmare on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11:00. Lorri was born on March 11, 1961 to Dale and Carol Byrd of Kenmare. She attended school in Kenmare and graduated in 1979. She was joined in marriage to her loving husband and partner William Prevost on June 9, 1979. After a brief time in Kenmare they moved to Denver, CO area where they made their home for many years. Lorri was a consummate warrior beating a devastating disease, TTP in 1983. She refused to give in and though it thoroughly destroyed her body she did not let it win. She learned to walk, use her arms and body, talk and most of all laugh and smile again. After her recovery she returned to work at Cherrlyn Manor and later as transcribing medical records working from home. In 2006 they moved back to North Dakota residing in Lansford. She worked in the pathology department at Trinity Hospital transcribing department reports. She loved to visit and would tell many stories of her pets, wildlife and flowers. One question about a pet or flowers in her yard and she would relate a long story. All who knew her loved her immeasurably and always will. Her faith in God and love for family and friends made her strong and deliberate. She was the bright light to those that were fortunate enough to be part of her life. May God keep her and protect her always. Lorri is survived by her husband William and two sisters, Nancy (Cliff) LOngre of Lincoln, ND and Sandy (Dennis) Heidel of Beulah, ND, nephew Mike, Cheyenne, Riot and Irelyn Heideland of Beulah. She is survived by aunts, uncles and several cousins. Lorri is preceded in death by her parents, sister Marla, father-in-law and mother-in-law; grandparents Lawrence and Ella Bird and Andrew & Martha Gravesen and Step-grandma Jennie Gravesen and several aunts and uncles.
