Jordan, age 69, the wife of Morris Leon Jordan, passed away Saturday night, Feb. 25, 2006, at Conway Medical Center with her family by her side. Mrs. Jordan was born Aug. 18, 1936, a daughter of the late Hampton Floyd and Alene Cooper Floyd. Mr. and Mr. Jordan have been married for 49 years and resided in the Dogbluff area of Galivants Ferry. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a wonderful master to her dog, Cricket. Mrs. Jordan was an avid gardener and loved flowers. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Neil Jordan and his wife, Alice, and Michael Jordan and his wife, Brenda, all of Galivants Ferry; two daughters, Renee Donna Edwards of Galivants Ferry, and Kimberly Johnson and her husband, Johnny, of Conway; one brother, LaRue Floyd and his wife, Judy, of Galivants Ferry; one sister, Vera Jordan and her husband, Lonnie, of Galivants Ferry; six grandchildren, Neil Jr., Drew, Dale, Maranda, Courtney and Caroline; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Tilley; and her devoted friend who stayed by her side, her beloved Cricket. Funeral services for Mrs. Jordan will be 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 28, 2006, at Pisgah United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Henry Altman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, directed by Palmetto Funeral Home, 397-2500. Visitation will be Monday evening, Feb. 27, 2006, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
