Lottie Pearl Kershner was born Feb. 26, 1905, in LaBelle, Mo.; the daughter of Richard and Rosella Preston Kershner. She received her education in the Redding, Pem., schools and graduated from Anamosa High School in 1922. Lottie Pearl Kershner was born Feb. 26, 1905, in LaBelle, Mo.; the daughter of Richard and Rosella Preston Kershner. She received her education in the Redding, Pem., schools and graduated from Anamosa High School in 1922. She received her teacher's certificate in Anamosa and taught school prior to her marriage to George Anderson in 1923. She later married Rolland Soper March 12, 1931, in Manchester. The couple farmed for many years in Wayne Township. Mr. Soper preceded her in death in 1967. She was s member of the Methodist Church and of Pythian Sisters for many years. Mrs. Soper is survived by three sons, Ronald Anderson of Cedar Rapids, RichardAnderson of Minneapolis, Minn., and Robert Soper of Anamosa; three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Kathryn) Freese of Monticello. Mrs. William (Jo Ann) Shrewsberry of Ballard, W.V., and Mrs. William (Jane) Walderbach of Oklahoma City, Okla.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Bess, and a son, Earl. Services for Mrs. Soper were held at 1:30 p.m., June 6, at Goettach Funeral Home in Anamosa with the Rev. Marion McCoy officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Casket bearers were Roger Soper, Clifton Soper, Steve Aldrich, Jeff Anderson, William Walderbach and Willian Shrewsberry.
