Ward on August 17, 1929, worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Warner Brown Hospital, but she was also a caregiver to many people around the community, and was a member of Bethel Chapel Assembly of God Church. Read More	VIOLA WARD August 6, 1915 - October 14, 2010 FACTS Born: August 6, 1915 Death: October 14, 2010 BIOGRAPHY Viola Ward, 95 of El Dorado passed away Thursday, October 14, 2010, at Hudson Nursing Home. Born on August 6, 1915, she was the daughter of William Patrick and Nellie Reynolds Greer. Viola married John G. Ward on August 17, 1929, worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Warner Brown Hospital, but she was also a caregiver to many people around the community, and was a member of Bethel Chapel Assembly of God Church. She could make anything grow, she love to work in her vegetable garden and flower beds. She enjoyed spending time crocheting, knitting and taking care of her animals. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband; one son, J.V. Ward; two brothers, Curtis H. and Harvey Greer; one sister, Cloie Greer. Survivors include a sister, Lexie Pepper of El Dorado; a step-sister, Verna Walls of Camden, AR; a step-brother, Mitchell Dean Frisby of Houston, TX; and several nieces and nephews, including special nieces Carolyn Roberson Hendrix and Beverly McFarland, of El Dorado. Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, October 15, 2010, at Young's. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Bethel Assembly of God with Bro. Steve Moss officiating. Burial will follow at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. The family will be at the home of Dr. Janus and Carolyn Hendrix at 909 Parkers Chapel Rd, El Dorado, AR 71730. A guest book will be available at www.youngsfuneralhome.com.
