Lou was raised on the family farm with three siblings, Hilda, George and Eldora. She married Harold Lee Burnett, who was in the US Marine Corps, in 1942. They lived in Long Beach for 22 years, raising a son, Grant Harold Burnett and a daughter, Linda Lee Burnett. Lou was a loving mother and wife. She worked in Data Processing at Todd Shipyard and McDonald Douglas Aircraft for 21 years.... Lou worked at Palomar College for over 25 years in the Computer Dept. She was a member of the San Marcos Lutheran Church and volunteered much of her time, in retirement, to the Vista Senior Center and Cancer Thrift Shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 2001; her brother, George; and her sister, Hilda. Lou is survived by a sister, Elora of Sun City, Ariz; by her son, Grant Harold of Escondido; daughter, Linda Morgan Pitschka of Spokane; and grandchildren, Elizabeth Baze (Andrew) of Bellevue, Wash; Joel Morgan of Spokane, Wash; Allison Burnett of Monterey, Ca; and Grant Burnett Jr. of Escondido.
