Peery was held at the Klawitter Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. C.M. Foust conducted the service. A quartette - Maxine Olderog, Reta Foust, Fred Stanley and C.M. Foust (Mrs. Vera Wood at the piano) furnished the music. Loucinda Peery, daughter of Harry and Emily Whiteley, was born October 17, 1866 at Albany, Mo.; departed this life on May 14, 1946 at her home in Chilhowee, Mo. at the age of 79 years, 6 months, 27 days. On March 4, 1896 she was united in marriage to Steven A. Peery. To this union were born six children: Grace White of Knob Noster, Mo., Chauncy of Ivanhoe, California, Gladys Jackson, Niles, Michigan, Pete of Camas, Washington and Ernest of Chilhowee. (All except Chauncy were present at the service.) Also surviving are three step-sons, Carl of Marionville, Mo., Cleo of Lecton, Mo., and Roy of Wilber, Nebraska; twenty-two grand children and seven great grandchildren; a brother, Joe Whiteley of Meridian, Idaho; and a host of other relatives and friends. In early life she united with the Methodist church. Her husband, Steven Peery, preceeded (sic) her in death January 4, 1931 as did also a daughter, Vera on December 17, 1941. Those who came from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jackson and Gordon of Niles, Michigan, Roy Peery and family of Wilber, Nebr., Ernest Peery of Chilhowee, Mo., Mrs. Robert Stokes and Mrs. Minnie Aubuson of Red Cloud, Emma Norwood and family of Superior, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Williams of Hastings, and Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Zimmerman of Fremont. CARD OF THANKS We desire to thank our many friends for the kindnesses shown us at the time of the passing of our dear one; also for the flowers and for the singing at the service. The Peery Children
