This union was blessed with six children William, Randy, Mary, Theresa, Gregory, and Jeffery Peck served in the U S Army from Oct 6, 1941 to Oct 9, 1945. He held membership in the St Mary's Catholic church and the V F W Post 6172. He was employed as the assistant manager of Alta Lumber Yard prior to his death. His six and a half year battle with cancer ended at the Buena Vista hospital on Dec 7. 1979. He was 62. He leaves to mourn his wife, Margiee, six children, William, Washington state, Mary Weiland, Alta, Theresa Conyers, Sioux City, and Gregory, Randy, and Jeffery at home, his father, Harold, Cherokee, four sisters, Bernlce Henke, Cherokee, Grace Coombs, Aurella, Kathenne Letts, Cherokee, and Rose Charbommeau, Sioux City, five brothers, Raymond, Frank, Lloyd, and Robert, all of Storm Lake, and Leonard, Indiana state, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister, Ann Carrington.
