On March 7, 1916 she was married to Harold Peck at Visitation Church in Maryhill. They become the parents of 13 children. In 1929 she moved with her family to Buena Vista County where they lived until 1952 when they returned to live in Rock Township, Cherokee County. She is survived by her husband, Harold; six sons, Louis Peck of Alta, Raymond, Francis, Lloyd and Robert, all of Storm Lake, Leonard of Cheyenne, Wyo.; five daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Bernice) Henke and Mrs. Bob (Grace) Coombs, both of Cherokee, Mrs. Gene (Ann) Carrington of Torrence, Calif., Mrs. James (Kathaleen) Letts of Carmichael, Calif., and Mrs. Eddie (Rozella) Charboneau, Sioux City; 32 grandchildren. A brother, John Zimmer, also survives. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Joseph, a daughter Ceclia and a brother, Joseph Zimmer, who died in February, 1953. Funeral services were held the morning of Feb. 29 from Visitation Church at Maryhill. Father William Carel was celebrant of Requiem High Mass and burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Greenwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers were three grandchildren Robert and Ronald Henke, Billy Peck and three nephews; Darrell, Floyd and Loren Zimmer.
