Perkins of Lexington, brother of Mrs. Ben Parr, passed away at the Parr home in Norfolk. William Parr died Monday morning at Los Angeles, California hospital and funeral rites where held Thursday morning at the Catholic church at Doge with burial made in the cemetery at that place. Read More	Death Calls Two In Family Within Week Within 12 hours yesterday after funeral services had been held for William Parr, pioneer of Stanton county and father of Ben Parr of Norfolk, Lewis P. Perkins of Lexington, brother of Mrs. Ben Parr, passed away at the Parr home in Norfolk. William Parr died Monday morning at Los Angeles, California hospital and funeral rites where held Thursday morning at the Catholic church at Doge with burial made in the cemetery at that place. Mr. Parr had lived in Stanton county in the early days and lived there many years. They moved to Dodge and soon after Mrs. Parr death he went to Long Beach to live with his daughter Mrs. Charles Carroll. He died from pneumonia. He was survived by 9 sons and daughters. "Only a short time after the funeral had been held, Mr. and Mrs. Parr were summoned to return to Norfolk immediately as Mr. Perkins had but a few hours to live. Death came to Mr. Perkins at 7:45 o'clock last evening. He had been sick at the Parr home since last fall. He was married to Miss Frances Salisbury of Overton seven years ago, and for several years lived at Lexington." He was survived by his wife, 2 children: Darlene Lou age 6, Charles age 2; his parents, 1 brother Harry at Stanton, 3 sisters: Mrs. Parr, Miss Bernice Perkins both at Norfolk; Mrs. William Fletcher at Sterling, Colorado. Funeral services will be held Sunday at Stanton. "Thursday, incidentally, was the fourteenth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Parr."
