Read More	The Belle Plaine Union, Wednesday, April 17th, 1963 page 1 Funeral services were held on Monday April 15, at St. Michael's Catholic church in Belle Plaine for Louis Vomacka, who died on Thursday, April 11, at the G. & G. Nursing home in Dysart where he had been cared for the past two weeks. Prior to going to the nursing home, he had lived at the Iowa hotel in Belle Plaine. The deceased was born on June 21, 1875. in Procec, Bohemia, the son of Frank and Mary Vomacka and came with his mother to America when seven years of age. He was married to Emma Mochal, Vining, and they were the parents of two children, George who died several years ago and Edith. His wife preceded him in death. Survivors are: one daughter, Edith Baysoy, Washington, D. C, two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Cerney, Belle Plaine, and Mrs. Frank (Mary) Greenlee, Jesup, and nieces and nephews. He farmed and worked on the farms until moving to Belle Plaine where he did odd jobs of labor. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic church. Father Edward S. Flynn officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Sam Roudabush, Emil Smolik, Frank L. Sankot, Fred Kalina, Wilfred Drahos and Louis Reihsen. Interment was in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery, Chelsea. Arrangements were made by the Hrabak funeral home in Belle Plaine.
