Laubscher was born in Canton, Stark county, Ohio, May 27th, 1841. She came to Iowa with her parents when four years old and has lived here all her life except five years she lived in Ohio after her marriage. She was married to Elmire Y. Crisman of Wooster, Ohio, Feb. 11th, 1857, by whom she had three children, two girls and one boy, who together with her mother, a sister, who lives near Mechanicsville,... Laubscher was born in Canton, Stark county, Ohio, May 27th, 1841. She came to Iowa with her parents when four years old and has lived here all her life except five years she lived in Ohio after her marriage. She was married to Elmire Y. Crisman of Wooster, Ohio, Feb. 11th, 1857, by whom she had three children, two girls and one boy, who together with her mother, a sister, who lives near Mechanicsville, and a brother, W.F. Laubscher, of Seattle, Washington, survive her. She was taken sick in March, with a cancer and was a great, but very patient sufferer until death released her. The funeral was conducted at the home, Monday, by Rev. Delo, and the burial was in the Masonic cemetery.
