Description	:	White getting a pail of water at the well just outside the door, Mrs Lizzie Markusch, wife of Chris Markusch, a well known resident of St Anthony, dropped dead at noon Friday, due to heart disease. Although 74 years of age, Mrs Markusch was in her usual health at the time she was stricken. Mrs Markusch was a native of Germany and came to St Anthony with her husband several years ago. Although 74 years of age, Mrs Markusch was in her usual health at the time she was stricken. Mrs Markusch was a native of Germany and came to St Anthony with her husband several years ago. For many years the family lived on a farm near town, about two years ago left the farm and moved into town. Aside from her husband, Mrs Markusch is survived by three daughters and two sons, one of the latter bring a child of Mrs Markusch's first marriage. The children are: Mrs William Mehlisch, living four miles southwest of St Anthony; Mrs Christ Melisch, three and one half miles southwest; Mrs William H Hennis, two and one half miles north of State Center; Fred Markusch of St Paul; and Christ Kohlawatz of Clayton, Wisconsin. Funeral services were held at the French Grove Lutheran church Monday afternoon, Rev A J Boehm, the pastor, officiating. Interment was made in the church cemetery. February 9, 1911 State Center Enterprise.
