Description	:	Louisa Margelene Rabe, 87, of Holdrege, formerly of Wilcox, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Wilcox United Methodist Church with the Rev. Virginia Fleharty officiating. Burial will be at Freewater Cemetery near Ragan in Harlan County. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Friday at Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege with the family present from 6-7:30 p.m. She was born July 16, 1923, at Wilcox to John and Lily (Gifford) Woollen. Survivors include her daughter, Jacque Reiser and her fiancé, Richard Beal, of Omaha; sons, Scott Rabe and his wife, Kerry, of Jay Em, Wyo., Randy Rabe and his wife, DeAnn, of Bertrand and Tim Rabe of Wilcox; grandchildren, Krissa Reiser and her fiancé, Chris Downey, and Jarod Reiser and his wife, Jen, all of Omaha, Tyler Rabe and his wife, Andrea, of Wahoo, Riley Rabe of Bertrand and his fiancée, Maura Sjomeling, of Elwood, Beau Rabe of Jay Em, Tanner Rabe of Kearney, DeLaine Rabe and Kendra Rabe, both of Lincoln, and Mikayla Rabe of Wilcox; great-granddaughter, Molly Reiser of Omaha; brothers, Melvin Woollen and his wife, Doris, of Holdrege and Bernard Woollen and his wife, Juanita, Lamonte Woollen and Norden Woollen and his wife, Mary Ann, all of Wilcox; sisters-in-law, Helen Woollen of Wilcox and Patricia Rabe of Chappell; brother-in-law, Russell Stutzman of Chappell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Louisa received her education from Wilcox Public School and graduated from Wilcox High School with the class of 1940. She and her twin sister, Lois, then went on to further their education at Hastings, where Louisa and Lois both received their cosmetology licenses. During this time, they worked at the Hastings Naval Ammunition Depot and saved enough money to purchase the Twinette Beauty Salon in Kearney. She and Clifford were married at Wilcox Community Church. The family made their home in Wilcox for a time before moving to Chappell, where they ranched until they purchased a farm south of Funk in 1957. In the early 1990s, they retired from farming and moved into Holdrege. Louisa worked as a beautician in Wilcox for several years and later worked in the Beauty Shop at Christian Homes in Holdrege until her retirement. She was a member of Wilcox United Methodist Church and the Wilcox Chapter of Eastern Star, and enjoyed the friendships formed as part of the Farmerette Hobby Club. Louisa enjoyed gardening, and most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Loren Woollen and his wife, Ardyce, Gifford Woollen, Lamoine Woollen and William Woollen and his wife, Dorothy; sisters, Cloie Jensen and her husband, William, and Lois Ryan and her husband, Eugene; and sister-in-law, Leone Woollen. Memorials are suggested to Wilcox United Methodist Church or to the donor's choice.
