Read More	Graham County Recorder (Hill City, KS) Friday, March 4, 1904 Miss Louisa Robertson was born March 25th, 1833, in Adams county, Ohio. She was clearly converted at the age of 22 years, and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church. This connection was never broken, and at the hour of her death she was ushered from the Church Militant, to the Church Triumphant, "which is without spot before the throne of God." On September 3rd, 1857, she was united in marriage to Mr. Zachariah W. Morris. To this happy union were born eleven children, seven of whom are now living, and were present at the hour of her death. Se passed away at four o'clock February 24th, 1904 at their home in Graham county, where they have lived since 1885. Mrs. Morris was loved and highly esteemed by all who knew her, and those who knew her best, loved her most. The funeral services were held at their home February 25th, 1904 and were conducted by her Pastor, Rev. T. J. Nixon. (Text 1st Sam. 20-18.) The body was then taken to the beautiful cemetery just north of Hill City, and laid to rest. During her sickness which lasted two weeks, she was not conscious all the time, but during her conscious moments she was praising her Savior, and gave the clearest evidence of perfect trust to Him. She called her children to her bedside and talked to them, but she could not speak plainly and all she said could not be understood, but she pleaded for them to meet her in heaven. She leaves a husband, five sons and two daughters, with a number of grandchildren to mourn her loss. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to those who mourn her loss. Heaven is enriched by her departure. We would not call her back, but we can go and meet her there. They who die in Christ are blessed; Ours be, then, no thought of grieving! Sweetly with their God they rest, All their toils and troubles leaving; So be ours the faith that saveth, Hope that every trial braveth, Love that to the end endureth, And through Christ the crown secureth. --- Bishop Doane. Louisa was the daughter of Andrew and Ruhanah (Querry) Robertson. She married Zachariah Walker Morris. They were the parents of eleven children: Sarah, James, Henry, Dora, Andrew, Mary, Alvin, Exella, Ezra, Charles and Albert.
