Read More	Silver Creek friends were greatly shocked Monday to learn of the death of a former resident, Mrs. Charles Himebaugh, at her home in Central City. She had been in poor health for several weeks and had been confined to bed part of the time. The seriousness of her condition was not known to her many friends here. Mr. & Mrs. Himebaugh have been repected residents of Central City for several years, the former being employed at the Union Pacific pumping station. During that period Mrs. Himebaugh proved herself a lady of exceptional refinemant and culture. She lived a quiet, Christian life, was a good neighbor and a person anyone would be proud to call a friend. The many friends of the family extend their deepest sympathy in this hour of great loss. Louisa Adelia Fiske was born at Scranton, PA , on the 6th day of April, 1864. Her parents were Mr & Mrs. Silas Fiske. She came to Nebraska when a child and attended school in Saunders County, where she later taught. She was united in marriage to Charles Himbaugh at Mead, this state, in 1885. The were for many years prominent residents of Silver Creek, where Mrs. Himebaugh was a member of the Congregatinal chrch and active in church work. Four children were born to this union, all of whom survive: Jessie A. Linger of Vega, Texas; Pierce C. Himebaugh of David City; Lyle D. Himebaugh of Silver Creek, and Eugene B. Himbaugh of Chicago. All of the children were home for the funeral. The deceased is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Knapp, of the state of Oklahoma, and two brothers, Will Fiske of Rapid City, SD and H. D. Fiske of Omaha. The funeral was held Wednesday afernoon from the late home at 2:00 o'clock, and the service was in charge of Rev. Ray S. True, pastor of the Methodist Church. Beautiful flowers were the silent tribute of the many friends and neighbors, who held Mrs. Hmebaugh in highest esteem. The remains were taken to Silver Creek, the former home of Mr. & Mrs. Himebaugh, for burial. Pall bearers were all from Silver Creek. They were A. L. Collier, O. Carter, G.W. Cremeen, G. W. Merrill, C. L. Spargue and W. H. Davis.
