Description	:	Louise C. Cummings, 72, a homemaker and retired farmer, died of a heart attack Tuesday at her Cascade home. Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Croxford & Sons Mortuary, Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery near Cascade. She was born on Jan. 24, 1917 at Collins, Georgia, and graduated from High School there. She was a partner in a restaurant in Collins where she worked to support her mother, brothers, and sisters. Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Croxford & Sons Mortuary, Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery near Cascade. She was born on Jan. 24, 1917 at Collins, Georgia, and graduated from High School there. She was a partner in a restaurant in Collins where she worked to support her mother, brothers, and sisters. She married John McClellan on July 8, 1943. He died in 1946. She married James N. Cummings on January 6, 1950, in Baxley, Georgia. The family moved to Cascade in the spring of 1951. They farmed south of Cascade, moving to the ranch in 1957. She was a Girl Scout leader for 22 years and a 4-H leader for 35 years. Active until her death, she had been preparing to leave next week to visit relatives in the South. She and 3 grandsons were planning to celebrate their common birthday together on Jan. 24. Her husband died of a heart attack in December 1978. The family lived only one-half mile from an Air Force missile site where electromagnetic pulse testing was done in the early 1970's. They believe that exposure to the high energy electromatic radiation was responsible for health problems they have have experienced. The Cummings' experiences were featured as part of news reports last spring about Air Force EMP tests. Survivors: include daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Johnnie) Yashenko of Great Falls and Mrs. Mark (Jimmie) Stevens of Derwood, Md; sisters, Jean Brannen of Lawtey, Fla., and Joyce Hagans (Solomon)of Jesup, GA.; brothers, C.L. Collins, Jr. of Winterhaven, Fla., George Jarriel of Collins, GA., and J.C.
