Her parents were the late William T. and Josephine Townsend Danson. Miss Danson is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Grace Bell, Shelltown, Md., Mrs. Ada Whitworth, Swarthmore, Pa., Mrs. Blanche Pierce, Coatesville, Pa. and Miss Emily Danson, Philadelphia.
