Sutton, who retired after more than 35 years as a teacher at North High School, will be today at 2:30 p.m. at the Crosby Burket Colonial Chapel, 119th Street and West Center Road. Louise was born in Thayer, Neb., and attended high school in York, Neb. In 1922, she received her bachelor's degree in teaching from the University of Nebraska and later received a master's degree in Spanish. Mrs. Sutton taught eight years in Grand Island, Neb., before moving to Omaha. She taught math and science at the former Technical High School, then moved to North High School as a math and Spanish teacher. She was head of the language department and head girls' counselor before retiring in 1969. She died Tuesday at the Montclair Nursing Center after a long illness. She was 84. She is survived by three sisters, Mary T. King of Oakland, Calif., Jacqueline Tucker and Ann T. Covert, both of Omaha; three nephews and two nieces. Burial will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Elkhorn.
