She was 78 years of age. Funeral rites will be held Friday at 9:30 A. M. at the Swanson Funeral Home at Valley. The deceased formerly lived near Olean, moving to Waterloo with her husband about 15 years ago. She formerly lived at West Point before her marriage. Her husband died 2 years ago. She is survived by six stepsons, Louis Ulrich, West Point; Fritz Litz, Dodge; Conrad Litz, Hartington; Clement and Frank Litz, Omaha; Theodore Litz, Beemer and one step-daughter, Miss Gertrude Litz, Omaha. ~~~~~~~~~~ Source: Article from The Papillion Times Newspaper, Papillion, Sarpy County, NE, USA Thursday, May 6, 1948 Mrs. Louise Litz Mrs. Herman Sander received word of the death of her only sister, Mrs. Louise Litz, while visiting at West Point, Nebraska. She suffered a stroke Monday evening, and her death came with in a few hours thereafter. Mr. and Mrs. Sander and Gretchen drove to Valley Tuesday morning to make necessary arrangements. The Swanson Funeral Home of Valley has charge of the funeral which will be held Friday morning from St. John's church at Valley with Father Brock officiating. Mrs. Litz has visited this community quite frequently and is well known to many of the residents here.
