LOVINNA HECHT Last rites were conducted from the Holyoke Methodist church on Monday of this week for Mrs. Lovinna Hecht, 66, who passed away last Thursday evening at the local hospital. Mrs. Hecht was born March 31, 1884, at Blairsburg, Iowa, the third daughter of William Wallace Loban and Estelle Lovinnia Bond Loban. She grew to womanhood in the vicinity of Williams, Iowa, where she finished her schooling. In the year of 1906 she was united in marriage to Carl Otto Hecht in the Methodist church at Webster City, Iowa, where they lived until 1917, when they moved to Colorado and settled at Holyoke. To this union, a son and daughter were born, Darlow and Glee. Mrs. Hecht is survived by her three brothers, Aldrich Berchard Loban of Carlton, Minnesota; Andrew Marion Loban of Riceville, Iowa; and Nathan Edward Loban of Holyoke; one son, Darlow, of Berkley, California; and one daughter, Mrs. Glee Eicher of Holyoke; and six grandchildren. Mrs. Hecht joined the Methodist church as a young lady at Williams, Iowa, and has been an active member since the days of her youth. She had planned to give a report on some Bible characters at the Women's Society meeting last Friday. She was always interested and active in the affairs of the church and community. Services were in charge of Rev. Louis A. Haruf. Pallbearers were: Henry Struckmeyer, Charles Sawin, Otto Eichele, Charles Heinlen, Oscar Unzicker and H.J. Hoppler. Arrangements were in charge of the Lewis Funeral Home and burial was in the Holyoke Memorial Park. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ IOWA MARRIAGE: Name: Carl O.
