Description	:	Andrew Laban, 74, died early Monday morning [April 19, 1954] at Des Moines after an illness extending over the past three years. Mr. Loban was the son of the late Wallace and Estella Loban and was born on a farm near Arlington, Ia., Aug. 19, 1980. His marriage to Miss Mae Mosher took place at Austin, Minn. Dec. 5, 1919. They settled in Riceville where he has since lived. He had been a member of the American Legion almost since Roy Gue post was organized in Riceville. Read More	Andrew Laban, 74, died early Monday morning [April 19, 1954] at Des Moines after an illness extending over the past three years. Mr. Loban was the son of the late Wallace and Estella Loban and was born on a farm near Arlington, Ia., Aug. 19, 1980. His marriage to Miss Mae Mosher took place at Austin, Minn. Dec. 5, 1919. They settled in Riceville where he has since lived. He had been a member of the American Legion almost since Roy Gue post was organized in Riceville. He is survived by his wife, brothers, Bert Loban, Carlton, Minn., Nathan of Holyoke Colo., many other relatives. Mr. Loban and his son, Rolland both enlisted in World War I and Rolland lost his life in the conflict. Mr. Loan served throughout the war. Funeral was conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Loper funeral home by the Rev. William Bodhi, pastor of the Congregational church. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Riceville.
