Description	:	Lowell Saner Lowell Fredrick Saner, son of Frank and Kathleen (Rodenstein) Saner, was born in Bloomfield, Iowa on September 3, 1906. He passed away on Friday, March 27, 1987. He was eighty years old. On December 30, 1930 he was married to Josie O. Slater and to this union one child, a son, Kenneth was born. Read More	Lowell Saner Lowell Fredrick Saner, son of Frank and Kathleen (Rodenstein) Saner, was born in Bloomfield, Iowa on September 3, 1906. He passed away on Friday, March 27, 1987. He was eighty years old. On December 30, 1930 he was married to Josie O. Slater and to this union one child, a son, Kenneth was born. Lowell and Josie farmed in Schuyler County all of their married life on a farm just south of Lancaster. For the past twelve years they have lived in Lancaster. Lowell was a member of the Christian Church of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Conda Saner. Surviving are: his wife, Josie, his son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Saner of Kenai, Alaska; three grandchildren, numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Memorial services were held Monday, March 30, 1987 at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian Church in Lancaster. Rev. Jim Oliphant, pastor of the church, officiated. Mrs. Pauline Whitlow sang two specials, "Beyond the Sunset" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere." She was accompanied by Ms. Jane Watkins on the organ. Bearers were Jimmy Beeler, Randy Gossman, Larry Bollman, David Beeler, Bob Slater, David Slater and Gary Porter. Interment was in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster. Arrangements were by Norman's Funeral Home of Lancaster.
