Description	:	Lowell James Switzler, 47, of Bozeman, passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997, at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. He was born May 1, 1950, in Sheridan, the son of LeRoy J. and Frances (Allen) Switzler. He attended Bozeman area schools, graduated from Bozeman Senior High School and attended Montana State University. Lowell worked in the Bozeman area all his life, with the exception of the year he spent in Utah at the Dugway Proving Ground. He served in the Montana National Guard for 12 years. Read More	Lowell James Switzler, 47, of Bozeman, passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997, at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. He was born May 1, 1950, in Sheridan, the son of LeRoy J. and Frances (Allen) Switzler. He attended Bozeman area schools, graduated from Bozeman Senior High School and attended Montana State University. Lowell worked in the Bozeman area all his life, with the exception of the year he spent in Utah at the Dugway Proving Ground. He served in the Montana National Guard for 12 years. He was currently manager of the Prime Rate Hotel. Lowell had been a member of the Eagles Lodge. He was an avid stamp collector and was a member of the American Philatelic Society. He was a world history buff. He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy and his sister, Diane Lee. Survivors include his fiancee, Kim Martinez and his mother, Frances Switzler, both of Bozeman; his brother, Joe Switzler of Alexandria, Va., a niece, Angela Switzler of Highland Ranch, Colo.; an aunt, Ruby Kozak of Sonoma, Calif.; an uncle, Dale Switzler of Fort Bragg, Calif.; brother in law, Douglas Allen of Silver Star; sister in law, Ruth Privett of Hamilton; and numerous cousins.
