Mr. Crawford was born Dec. 27, 1940 at Clay Center, the son of George and Lottie Mae (Bergman) Crawford. He grew up in Clay Center. After serving in the U.S. Navy he worked in Chanute for Cablevision and owned and operated a bait shop. He married Lois Boyer in 1960, they later divorced. He moved back to Clay Center in 1970 and worked for Hutchinson Manufacturing and owned and operated a roofing business. He married Ruth Williams in 1977 and they later divorced. Mr. Crawford was born Dec. 27, 1940 at Clay Center, the son of George and Lottie Mae (Bergman) Crawford. He grew up in Clay Center. After serving in the U.S. Navy he worked in Chanute for Cablevision and owned and operated a bait shop. He married Lois Boyer in 1960, they later divorced. He moved back to Clay Center in 1970 and worked for Hutchinson Manufacturing and owned and operated a roofing business. He married Ruth Williams in 1977 and they later divorced. He was preceded in death by his parents; one great-granddaughter; three brothers; and one sister. Survivors include three daughters, Jackie Ouellette and husband Kenny of Clay Center, Jeannie Bulk of Clay Center and Judy Disney of Wichita; one son, Jarrod Crawford of Clay Center; one sister, Lois Lee of Rio Linda, Calif.; three brothers, Loun Crawford of Clay Center, Lawrence Crawford of Clay Center and Lyman Mickey Crawford of Clay Center; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel, Clay Center, with the Rev. James Byers officiating. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, at a later date. Memorials may be made to Meadowlark Hospice in care of the funeral home, 918 7th St., Clay Center, KS 67432.
