Description	:	Lucille Anna (Linde) Flink, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Twilight Acres Nursing Home in Wall Lake. Lucille was born April 18, 1925 to Eddie and Anna (Weber) Linde at Westside, Iowa. Lucille was baptized as an infant in the Wheatland Presbyterian Church in rural Breda, Iowa. She attended country school Arcadia Township of Carroll County and graduated from Westside High School in 1941. After graduation, Lucille was associated with the local Westside newspaper and helped on her parents farm north of Westside, which is still the Linde homestead. Lucille was born April 18, 1925 to Eddie and Anna (Weber) Linde at Westside, Iowa. Lucille was baptized as an infant in the Wheatland Presbyterian Church in rural Breda, Iowa. She attended country school Arcadia Township of Carroll County and graduated from Westside High School in 1941. After graduation, Lucille was associated with the local Westside newspaper and helped on her parents farm north of Westside, which is still the Linde homestead. Lucille also enjoyed church work in her mother church of Wheatland. She attended Sunday School and later taught Sunday School, served as an officer in the Ladies Group and served as church organist for many years. On April 25, 1944, Lucille was united in marriage to Earl F. Flink of Wall Lake. The couple was married at Wheatland by Rev. H.A. Smidt. The couple lived on a farm until 1953 when they moved to Westside. Lucille and Earl joined the Westside Presbyterian Church (now the United Church). Lucille was a member of the church's Mother's Club and served in the capacity of several offices and was active with Vacation Bible School and also served as assistant organist. In 1960, the family moved to the Odebolt area and became members of the Odebolt Presbyterian Church where Lucille served as a Trustee and two terms as an Elder. She was also a member of Presbyterian Women (PW). Lucille was actively involved in the ORNC (formerly Colonial Manor) Auxilliary, serving as President. Lucille loved her family and enjoyed making a home for them. She was a master cook and baker who was famous for her pie. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren - they were the apple of her eye and she enjoyed everyone and helping where she could. Lucille loved music, especially Gospel music, needlework and reading. She collected snowmen and cat figurines. Her husband Earl passed away April 4, 1984, a few years after moving into their new home on Dewey Street in Odebolt. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Harrold Linde and Kenneth Linde, oldest son Larry, a grandson-in-law Tyler Johnson, two nephews Kevin and Allan Linde, nieces Cathy Linde and Mary Kay Schnell and sister-in-law Louisa Linde. Lucille is survived by her children, Judith (Arlin) Bunge of Wall Lake, Keith (Joyce) Flink of Odebolt, Nancy Flink of Odebolt, Steve (Deborah) Flink of Odebolt, Randy Flink of St. Louis, MO. Her grandchildren, Crystal Bunge of Wall Lake, Todd (Tam) Bunge of Hawarden, IA, Jeana (Chris) Boyd of Clive, IA, Justin (Amy) Flink of Herriman, UT, Jory Flink of Sioux City, IA, Andrea Johnson of Bettendorf, IA and Brady (Stephanie) Flink of West Des Moines, IA. Great-grandchildren Nathanael, Jakob and Mikhel Bunge, Carter and Haley Boyd, Austin Flink, Hunter and Brooklyne Flink and Aidan Johnson. A sister-in-law, Darleen Linde of Westside and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, June 3rd at the First Presbyterian Church in Odebolt with Reverend Kevin Freese officiating. Burial will be at the Westside Cemetery under the direction of the Farber & Otteman Funreral Home of Odebolt. The visitation is from 4-7:00pm, Sunday evening at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Odebolt.
