Description	:	Lucille Marie Litke, 70, Council Grove, died Monday, June 10, 2002 at the Morris County Hospital in Council Grove. Born July 7, 1931 in Council Grove she was the daughter of Neil and Jessie Burnett Williams. She was graduated from Council Grove high school with the class of 1949.She was a cook for the Council Grove Public Schools for 20 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the 4-Mile E.H.U. for several years. Read More	Lucille Marie Litke, 70, Council Grove, died Monday, June 10, 2002 at the Morris County Hospital in Council Grove. Born July 7, 1931 in Council Grove she was the daughter of Neil and Jessie Burnett Williams. She was graduated from Council Grove high school with the class of 1949.She was a cook for the Council Grove Public Schools for 20 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the 4-Mile E.H.U. for several years. She enjoyed going to garage sales and going to football, basketball , baseball and softball games and just following her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking. She was a collector of Depression glass, Owls, Bells, and Salt and Pepper Shakers. Her marriage to Don Litke was at the Pentecostal Church in Council Grove on January 22, 1950. He survives. Other survivors include: 4-Sons: Darrell Litke and wife Kathy, Council Grove, KS Byron Litke and wife Sheila, Council Grove, KS Bruce Litke and companion Sheila Miller, Council Grove, KS Jeff Litke and wife Marsha, Council Grove, KS 1-Brother: Dale Williams and wife Elie, Council Grove, KS 2-Sisters: Wanda Hedgespeth and husband Ralph, Dunlap, KS Karen Metcalfe and husband August, Dunlap, KS 14-Grandchildren: Dara Fillmore and andJason,Dana Reddick husband Bobby, Shilo King and husband Tim, Justin Litke, Deanna Litke, Lacie Litke, Dawn Litke, Neil Litke, Desiree' Litke, Nathan Litke, Nolan Litke, Tucker Litke, Josh Waters, Tyler Waters 8-Great grandchildren: Derron Reddick, Logan Litke, Braden Reddick, Treyse King, Breah Fillmore, Lauren Reddick, Blane Fillmore, Brodey King Her parents and one sister Helen Williams preceded her in death in 1947. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 13, 2002 at the First Baptist Church in Council Grove with Pastor John Bliss Officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunny Slope Memorial Cemetery also in Council Grove. She will lie in state at the Memorial Chapel of the Flint Hills in Council Grove from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, where family and friends will meet from 7:00 – 9:00 PM that night. The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Council Grove Senior Citizens Center or to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. On line messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.funeralchoice.com. Memorial Chapel of the Flint Hills is in charge of arrangements.
