Description	:	Obituary: Lucinda Elizabeth Boan was born at Mine La Motte, Missouri, October 2, 1862 and departed this life February 5, 1935, at her home in Wabunsee, Kansas, at the age of 72 years, 4 months and three days. When three years of age her parents came and located near St. Clere, where she was united in marriage with George L. Gideon, August 8. 1880. To this union were born 12 children, two dying in infancy. McCabe, Buffalo, Montanaodepm imoted wotj tjue; Mrs. C.H. Hoover, Onaga; Seymour and John Gideon of Jensen, Florida. All children were present except Mrs. Page, Mrs. McCabe, Seymour and John. Mrs. Gideon united with the M.E. Chgust 1930urch when a young woman and has kep the Faith and ways of a loving mother and wife. She lived to celebrate her golden wedding August 1930. In 1932, her health failed, but she remained in good spirits to the end. She leaves to mourn her loss, her aged husband, ten children, 31 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and many other friends. The funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in the Mt. Olive Church, burial in Mt. Olive cemetery. Six of the grandsons served as pallbeares.
