Description	:	Mrs. Niels Sonder was born in North Denmark, December 26, 1848 and died at the home of her son, Chris, in Creighton, Sunday afternoon, December 9 at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 13 days. Mr. and Mrs. Sonder came to America in the year of 1883 and moved onto a farm near Osmond and several years later moved onto the Fot place northwest of Creighton, living there for a number of years and several years later moved onto the old Joe Stoddard farm east of Bazile Mills. Read More	Mrs. Niels Sonder was born in North Denmark, December 26, 1848 and died at the home of her son, Chris, in Creighton, Sunday afternoon, December 9 at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 13 days. Mr. and Mrs. Sonder came to America in the year of 1883 and moved onto a farm near Osmond and several years later moved onto the Fot place northwest of Creighton, living there for a number of years and several years later moved onto the old Joe Stoddard farm east of Bazile Mills. Six years ago Mr. Sonder purchased the old hotel at Bazile Mills where they made their home until three weeks ago, when Mrs. Sonder was taken to Creighton to the Chris Sonder home where she stayed until the time of her death. All that could be done in regard to medical aid was rendered her but it seemed to be of no avail. Mrs. Sonder had been failing very fast for over two months with a complication of diseases. She leaves to mourn her loss, a kind and loving husband, five sons and three daughters, Mrs. Baer of Montana, Mrs. Peter Jacobsen of near Winnetoon, Mrs. Albert Suhr of near Creighton, Peter of Bazile Mills, Chris of Creighton, Frank and Jens, serving in the U.S.Army at Deming, N.M., ten grandchildren and one brother in Denmark, as well as a host of friends. Grandma Sonder will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held by the Danish Lutheran minister, Rev. Carlsen and the body will be laid to rest in the Creighton cemetery.
