Description	:	Lucretia was the daughter of David R Rannells (1799-1855) & Harriet Culbertson (1805-1887). She married 1884 to widower Luther Nott, whose first wife Mary died in 1882. In the 1920 Missouri census, she was living with her widowed sister Sarah Mildred Owens (1835-1920). Lucretia died of Bright's Disease at age 88 and is buried at Dunlap, Iowa, with her brother William Culbertson Rannells (1834–1915) and his family. William's youngest son was named Luther Nott Rannells (1885-1966) in honor of William's brother-in-law Luther Nott. On 5 November 1924, Lucretia made a will which mentions nieces Pearl Rannells, Anna Rannells, and Minnie Cadmore, plus an adopted son Cecil Nott. She stipulated that $200 should be reserved for a cemetery monument; but none was erected--and perhaps her estate didn't even have $200. On 2 June 1884, Lucretia was the midwife for the birth of a daughter to her stepdaughter, Lorraine (Nott) Cooper. The baby was named Lucretia in honor of the midwife.
