She married Henry Hudson on October 12, 1867, in Henry County, Illinois. --------------- Obituary From Ottumwa Courier, March 31, 1919: Mrs. Lucy Jane Hudson, age 78 years, died yesterday at 6:30 p.m. at her home 545 South Ray street. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sophronia Johnston of David City, Neb., and Mary Etta Langford, and one son, William G. Wayson of Albia. Mrs. Hudson was born July 4, 1840, in Marietta, Ohio. She was married in 1855 [sic] to Berriah Wayson, who died at Vicksburg July 1864. In 1867 she was married to Henry Hudson who died in February, 1914. The funeral service will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the residence, Rev. W.E. Prewitt of the South Ottumwa Baptist church officiating. Interment in Shaul cemetery.
