Description	:	Luella was born to Alexander Hamilton and his second wife, Mary Ann Parsons Brock. Mary became the instant mother to Benton, Minerva, Floyd and Orson. Their mother, Mary Swineford Brock, had passed away. A fifth child, Sanders had died at just one year old. Mary Ann and Alexander had nine more children. Luella was the last of Alexander's 14 children, the last one born to Mary Ann. Luella married Charles Townsend on April 8, 1885 in Bureau, Illinois.
