She passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Point Lookout Nursing Home and Rehab in Hollister, Missouri, at the age of 102 years. Luella graduated from Decatur High School and attended Wayne State Teacher's College. She taught at the Ball School, which was located on the family farm. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; six brothers and six sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Jean McAllister of Branson, Missouri; son, Clark Beck of Decatur; sister, Larraine Day of Union Grove, Wisconsin; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, February 22, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Decatur, Nebraska. VISITATION: Friday one hour prior to the services at the church BURIAL: Hillcrest Cemetery, Decatur, Nebraska MEMORIALS: The Decatur United Methodist Church.
