The Reverend Richard Ball officiated, with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Ida Grove. at 7 p.m. Born November 2, 1924, near McIntire, Iowa, Luella Rose Lansink was the daughter of Charles and Rose (Stoltz) Kohles. As a child, Luella lived in various towns throughout Iowa. She graduated from Manilla High School, then attended Mount St. Clare College in Clinton, Iowa. On February 8, 1956, Luella was united in marriage to Raymond E. Lansink at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ida Grove. The couple made their home south of Ida Grove where they farmed and raised their family of five children. They retired and moved into Ida Grove in 1988. In their retirement years, Luella and Ray made many happy memories traveling, including special trips to Holland, Switzerland, and Germany. Luella was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading and tending her flowers and houseplants, and especially loved time spent with her family. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include five children, Allen Lansink of Ida Grove, Bruce Lansink of Ida Grove, LuAnn (Alan) Bennett of Galva, Marc (Mary) Lansink of Battle Creek, and Paul (Sheila) Lansink of Anthon; eight grandchildren, Tonya Rehse, Cory Bennett, Cody Umbach, Sam Bennett, Dallas Lansink, Shelby Bennett, Logan Lansink, and Joshua Lansink; and three great-grandchildren, Addison Anderson, Jaiston Jung, and Ashton Rehse. Also surviving are three brothers, Charles "Chuck" (Pat) Kohles of Escondido, CA, Melvin (Eunice) Kohles of Grand Junction, CO, and Don (Bertha) Kohles of Juarez, Mexico; a sister, Darlene (Laurence) Clausen of Holstein; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2005; her parents; five sisters, Josephine Goetzinger, Frances Turner, Bernice Kelm Stephens, Margaret Kohles, and Mary Bonar; and a brother, Bernard Kohles.
