Read More	Louis "Slick" Dinoni South Radley--Louis "Slick" Dinoni, 76, of South Radley, died at 2:16am Tuesday, June 18, 1996, at the Olathe Medical Center. He had been hospitalized for a day. He was born June 15, 1920, at South Radley, to Pete and Mary Giambi Dinoni. He grew up and lived at Radley all his life, and attended Radley and Frontenac schools. He was a veteran of World War II, serving from June 1942 to January 1946. He served in the European Theatre with the 81st Armored Medical Battalion. He received the World War II Victory Ribbon, the American Theatre Ribbon, the E.A.M.E. Ribbon, three Bronze Service Stars, and the Good Conduct Medal. He married Mildred Biancarelli on Nov. 2, 1941, at Girard. She preceded him in death March 19, 1988. Mr. Dinoni was employed with the McNally Foundry in Pittsburg for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Benjamin Fuller Post No. 64 of the American Legion of Pittsburg. Survivors include a son, Jerry Dinoni of Olathe; two sisters, Victoria McVickers of South Radley and Angelina Mauroni of Zigzag, Ore.; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Dinoni. Graveside services will be 10am Friday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, with the Rev. Verl Strong of the Frontenac United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow with flag-folding services conducted by the Benjamin Fuller Post No. 64 of the American Legion. Friends are requested to meet at the cemetery. Friends may call from 9am to 7pm Thursday at the Friskel Funeral Home of Frontenac, or at the family home at their convenience.
