She was born November 26, 1927 in St. George, Utah to Thomas Butler Robinson and Alzina Tryphena Lamoreaux Robinson. She was the last of 10 children. Read More	Nov. 26, 1927 - Dec. 11, 2015 LuJean Robinson Thornock, 88, was a long time resident of Grandview and Mabton, WA. She was born November 26, 1927 in St. George, Utah to Thomas Butler Robinson and Alzina Tryphena Lamoreaux Robinson. She was the last of 10 children. She passed away on December 11, 2015 at the home of her daughter Glory in Roy, Utah. She was married to Dean Stewart Thornock on April 6, 1944. After three weeks of marriage her sweetheart was deployed to the Philippines for the US Navy for two years. She took great joy in her children, and their families, as well as the wonders of nature including hummingbirds, gold finches, flowers and colors of every kind. She worked part-time at the Grandway Drug store in Grandview, sold Tupperware and Encyclopedias. She worked for Libby's and other various jobs. She was full of life and enjoyed her many friends. Often those who visited her found themselves playing games and laughing into the late hours. LuJean was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints her entire life. She and Dean served a mission in Louisiana. She held many callings in her church and worked with the youth a lot. She touched the lives and many and with love and will be missed by all who knew her. LuJean is survived by her six children; Glory (Lee) Gifford, Roy,UT, Tom (Lynn) Thornock, Channahon, IL, Bernadette (Ja) Eggett, Lindon, UT, Dave (Kathy) Thornock, Wenatchee, WA., Mike (Julie) Thornock, Mabton, WA., and Todd (Sandy) Thornock, Prosser, WA., as well as 32 grandchildren, and 108 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and granddaughter. Funeral Serves will be held Saturday December 19th, at 10:00a.m., at the Sunnyside LDS Chapel at 2000 E. Lincoln Ave. A viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service Interment at the Lower valley memorial garden cemetery, Sunnyside will follow. Flowers will be received at the Smiths Funeral Home at 528 S. 8th Ave., in Sunnyside, WA 98944.
