VICTOR CLAUSEN Funeral services for Mrs. Victor (Lulu) Clausen, 77, were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist church in Duncombe with the Rev, Vincent L. James officiating. Burial was made in Graceland cemetery at Webster City. Foster's Funeral home had charge of services. Mrs. Clausen died Friday afternoon at Trinity Regional hospital at Fort Dodge. Burial was made in Graceland cemetery at Webster City. Foster's Funeral home had charge of services. Mrs. Clausen died Friday afternoon at Trinity Regional hospital at Fort Dodge. She had been in ill health for several years. Lulu M. Schoonover, daughter of Albert and Mary Linn Schoonover, was born Aug. 22, 1898 at Lehigh. She was reared and educated in the Lehigh community. When she was 15, she moved with her family to Duncombe. On May 24, 1916, she united in marriage to Dwight Royster, and the couple farmrd north of Brushy. To this union, five daughters and two sons were born; Mrs. Leonard (Ruth) Ball, Dean Royster, Mrs. Dorothy Legg, Mrs. Richard (Pearl) Kaufman, Mrs. William (Cathryn) Powers, Charles Royster, and Mrs. James (Carol) Brandt, all of Duncombe. Mr. Royster preceded her in death in 1946 On Oct. 4, 1954, she united in marriage to Victor Clausen and the couple had since resided in Duncombe. In addition to her children, she is survived by her husband; one step-daughter, Mrs. Barbara Johnson, of Lehigh; one step-son, Arnold Clausen of Fort Dodge; 23 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sistes, Mrs. Howard (Leona) Van Horn of Lone Tree, Iowa, and Mrs. Raymond (Juanita) Vitense of Tipton; and one brother, Albert Schoonover of West Liberty. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter; her parents; one sister and one brother. She was a member of the Duncombe United Methodist church, the Mehodist Ladies Aid and the American Legion Auxiliary.
