Description	:	Lulu Mae Finley 1899-1950 Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Pierce funeral home for Lulu Mae Finley, whose death occured at her home north of Morning Sun last week. Read More	Lulu Mae Finley 1899-1950 Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Pierce funeral home for Lulu Mae Finley, whose death occured at her home north of Morning Sun last week. Although the county coroner found nothing to occasion an inquest, the exact time and cause of death have not been established. The dead woman lived with her aged mother, Mrs. Zola Finley, who has been unable to give a clear account of her daughter's death. Saturday morning the mother was seen along the highway near the Harvey Anderson farm and later in this morning she was found by Anderson in his truck which had been parked along the road. Mrs. Finley was in a state of collapse, apparently exhausted by the effort of walking across the fields to the road in search of help. She did, however, make known the fact that help was needed at her home and upon investigation the body of the daughter was found lying on the floor of the Finley residence. It is thought that the woman had been dead for some hours and might possibly have died some time Friday night or early Saturday morning. It is not known that she had been partiularly ill just before her death. Lulu Mae Finley was born in Louisa County on August 19, 1899 and spent most of her life on a farm near Morning Sun. Survivors are Mrs. Zola Finley and Delbert Finley. The father, Ed Finley, died last July. Funeral services were in charge of Rev. Will Hughes and burial was in Rice cemetery.
