Description	:	BODY HERE FOR BURIAL The body of Mrs. Martin Spaulding who passed away at her home, Leeds, N. D. was brought to Lamoni Tuesday for interment. A funeral service was held at the White Funeral rooms, on East Tenth street, Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Spaulding was a resident in Lamoni for three years, about I902 to 1904, and had visited here on many occasions being quite well known here. Read More	BODY HERE FOR BURIAL The body of Mrs. Martin Spaulding who passed away at her home, Leeds, N. D. was brought to Lamoni Tuesday for interment. A funeral service was held at the White Funeral rooms, on East Tenth street, Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Spaulding was a resident in Lamoni for three years, about I902 to 1904, and had visited here on many occasions being quite well known here. Three of her children, Ira, Howard, and Ruth were educated in Graceland College. Spaulding was born June 5, 1863, at Black Earth, Wis. and died October 16, 1931, making her at time of death 68 years, 4 months, and 12 days old. Most of her youth was spent at Osseo, Wis., where she met and was married to Martin Spaulding, March 12, 1883. Soon after their marriage, they moved to North Dakota, where they have made their home the greater part of their married life. They have lived at Minnewaukan, Leeds, Sherwood, and Minot. Mr Spaulding has been in business in all of these towns; and has also farmed and operated his land possessions during residence in the northern state. Mrs. Spaulding was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints nearly 40 years ago by Elder John Spaulding and has remained a staunched defender of the faith. Mr. and Mrs. Spaulding were planning on spending this winter in Lamoni and were packed ready to start, when Mrs. Spaulding was taken with her final illness which confined her to her bed for five or six weeks. She suffered intensely during that time. Deceased was the mother of five children: Ira, Sherwood, N. D.; Howard, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Mrs. Ruth Cooper, Parshal, N. D.; Grover, Leeds, N.
