She had been a patient in the hospital for the past seven weeks Born Lydia McDonald at Frederika Sept. 21st. 1879, the deceased attended the Frederika schools. She was married to Harry McConkey Jan. 4th, 1899, and the couple lived on a farm near Frederika until 1915 when they moved to Sumner. They later moved to Fredericksburg and then to New Hampton where they made their home for the ten years prior to Mrs. McConkey's death. Surviving, besides the husband, are three daughters: Mrs. George I Wilson of Sumner, Mrs. Albert Borcheiding of Fredericksburg, Mrs. Clem Long of Waverly. One brother. J. H. McDonald, and one sister Julia McDonald, both of Frederika and six grandchildren, one of whom. Pfc. Harry J. Wilson is stationed at Harington, Texas, also are left. Services were at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the New Hampton Methodist church and burial was in the family lot in the Alcock cemetery in Frederika Mrs. McConkey was a life-Ion member of the Methodist church. Frederika Resident Dies at New Hampton Fredericksburg—Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs Harry McConkcy, 65, former resident here. Mrs. McConkey, who had been a patient in the hospital at New Hampton for several months, died early Sunday morning. The family resided on a farm near here before moving to Frederika. Surviving are the widower, 3 daughters, Mrs. Albert Borcherding of Fredericksburg, Mrs George Wilson of Sumner and Mrs. Clem Long of Waverly 6 grandchildren; a sister, Miss Julia McDonald of Frederika, and a brother, Jim McDonald of Frederika. Interment was made at Frederika.
