Description	:	Lydia Weeks Died Here Monday Mrs. Lydia C. Weeks, 85, died Monday, Jan. 2 at the Prairie Good Samaritan Center, Miller. Funeral Services will be Friday, Jan. 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the Reck Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Ransom officiating. Visitation will be Thursday evening. Visitation will be Thursday evening. Interment will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery. Lydia was born in Iowa on August 9, 1892, the fourth child of Fred and Christina Klages. At the age of 16 she moved with her parents and family to a farm south of Miller where she lived until she was married to Charles Weeks on February 17, 1915. Lydia and Charles resided on a farm south of St. Lawrence for most of their 60 years of marriage until his death in July 1975, after which she resided in Miller. She is survived by one son Vernon, Los Angeles, CA, one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Dunham, Culver city, CA, three sisters, Mrs. Freeda Safstrom, Portland, OR, Mrs. Leona Bies, Marshall, MN and Mrs. Clarence (Nellie) Thomas, Auburn, CA; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and one son, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
