Description	:	from the Wetmore Spectator 1/24/1908 Lydia Elizabeth Clevenger was born Dec. 2, 1850, in Putnam county, Ohio. She was united in marriage to J.F.Ruhlen April 16, 1876. To this union eight children were born, four of which are still living-two sons and two daughters. Four have preceeded her to the great beyond. She leaves to mourn her departure, a husband, and four children, besides three grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters, and numerous relatives. Read More	from the Wetmore Spectator 1/24/1908 Lydia Elizabeth Clevenger was born Dec. 2, 1850, in Putnam county, Ohio. She was united in marriage to J.F.Ruhlen April 16, 1876. To this union eight children were born, four of which are still living-two sons and two daughters. Four have preceeded her to the great beyond. She leaves to mourn her departure, a husband, and four children, besides three grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters, and numerous relatives. She came with her husband to Nemaha county, Kan., in February, 1881, where she resided till her death on January 15, 1908, at the age of 57 years one month and 13 days. Very early in life she was converted and united with the Ottawa River Christian church in Putnam county, Ohio. In 1878, with her husband, she united with the Allen Center Baptist church in Union county, Ohio. She brought her letter with her and placed it with the Granada Baptist church and later united with the First Baptist church of Wetmore, of which she continued a faithful member until the end. While she was never very demonstrative, her greatest value was recognized in her home and by those who knew her best. Having been a loving wife and fond, affectionate mother, "her children arise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her." Her long and painful illness she bore with remarkable fortitude and was ready, and willing to go when the Master called her, and she fell asleep in Jesus to arise triumphant in the glorious beyond to a newness of live.
