She was born Nov. 13, 1918, in Ford County, Kan., to Joe and Fannie (Troyer) Stutzman. On Dec. 14, 1939, she married Eli N. Yoder. He died Aug. 24, 1976. She was preceded in death by her husband Eli; son, Alva Joe; grandson, Wayne Yoder; great-granddaughter, Rachel Kneadler; parents, Joe and Fanny Stutzman; three sisters, Barbara Yoder, Wilma Yoder and Dorothy Stutzman; and four brothers, Enos, Harry, Jay, and Henry Stutzman. The family lived in Pryor, Okla., where they attended Zion Mennonite Church. Lorene was a faithful member and a Sunday school teacher. In 1967, they moved to Middlebury. She was a homemaker and a member of Griner Mennonite Church, Middlebury. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and spending time with her children. Services at Griner Mennonite Church, Middlebury. John Yoder, Robert Riegsecker and Harley Troyer officiated at the service. Burial in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka. God bless you, dear Mother. Your journey on Earth is complete.
