Description	:	LYDIA REBECCA DUNN, younger daughter of Joseph Milton and Surrepta Lenore (Holmes) Dunn, was born near Sardinia, September 10, 1895, and passed away at the Clermont Mercy Hospital, January 10, 1989, age 93 years and and 4 months. She lived her entire life in the Sardinia, Whiteoak, Mt. Orab area. Rebecca graduated from Sardinia High School in 1913, and taught at the Fulton School in Jackson Township. She lived her entire life in the Sardinia, Whiteoak, Mt. Orab area. Rebecca graduated from Sardinia High School in 1913, and taught at the Fulton School in Jackson Township. At a very young age, she united with the Sardinia Methodist Church, and later became a member of the Whiteoak United Brethren Church. She was also a member of the Mizpah Rebekah Lodge #896. On March 31, 1915, she married Clyde H. Vance, who preceded her in death on February 13, 1981. Four children were born to this union: James Willard, Arlington, Virginia; Mildred Lenore (Mrs. Otto E. Barnes), Cincinnati; Daniel Robert, Mt. Orab; and Joe Dunn, who, with his wife, Mary, was killed in an automobile accident July 8, 1966. She also was preceded in death on June 12, 1969, by her older sister, Annis Irene Dunn Weisbrodt. Besides her three children, she is survived by 7 grandsons: James Robert Vance, California; Joseph Wellman Vance, New Mexico; Dale Edward, Stephen Lynn, and Jeffrey Thomas Barnes, Cincinnati; Douglas Robert Vance, Cincinnati; and Danny Joe Vance, Maryland; 8 great-grandchildren; and a niece, Mary Kathryn (Weisbrodt) Bachman. In addition, a host of relatives and friends will sadly miss her quick wit, lively conversation, and remarkable memory. Twilight and evening bell, and after that the dark!
