Description	:	RAVENNA NEWS - Ravina, Buffalo County, Nebraska - February 5, 1909 Mrs. Libbie Zbinden died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. John Lenz near Poole, Wed. February 4, 1909 at age 80 years. Mrs. Zbinden was the mother of five children, only three of whom survived childhood, and but one is now living - Mrs. Mensfer, of Grand Island. The first Mrs. Herman Wilke of Sweetwater, and the first Mrs. John Lenz of Poole died several years ago. Read More	RAVENNA NEWS - Ravina, Buffalo County, Nebraska - February 5, 1909 Mrs. Libbie Zbinden died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. John Lenz near Poole, Wed. February 4, 1909 at age 80 years. Mrs. Zbinden was the mother of five children, only three of whom survived childhood, and but one is now living - Mrs. Mensfer, of Grand Island. The first Mrs. Herman Wilke of Sweetwater, and the first Mrs. John Lenz of Poole died several years ago. Mrs. Zbinden was a sister-in-law of Mr. Sam'l Zbinden, formerly of Sweetwater, now of Seattle, Washington. The deceased has been an invalid for the past two years, being bed ridden since that time, her troubles arising from a broken hip. She died very suddenly. She appeared to be in her usual state of health until Tuesday evening when she suddenly lost the power of speech and failed rapidly until four o'clock the following morning, when she breathed her last. The funeral is to be held Friday of this week, and interment will be at the Dow Cemetery, southeast of Poole.
