Read More	Lyle Elmer Hall, 70 September 18, 1946 ~ May 14, 2017 Lyle was born on September 18, 1946 in Ponca, NE, to Elmer and Doris (Gran) Hall. He attended school in Ponca. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1966 and was stationed in Germany. Lyle married Julie Pinkelman in 1967. They were blessed with three daughters. He worked for Northeast Nebraska Public Power District and then Mid-American Energy until his retirement. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Newcastle and the Newcastle, Ponca and South Sioux City American Legions. He enjoyed all Husker sports, camping, traveling and watching his grandchildren's events. Lyle E. Hall, 70, of Ponca, NE passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Left to cherish his memory are his significant other, Diane Neill of Ponca, NE; daughters, Lisa (Dean) Burbach of Hartington, NE, Lynette (Doug) Bauman of Ponca, NE and Lori (Cody) Christensen of Hartington, NE; grandchildren, Felicia (Chris) Sailer, Jeff (Melinda) Burbach, Nick (Brittany) Burbach, Deacon, Luke, Anna, and Sara Burbach, Brandon and Nathan Bauman, Kelsey, Sydney, Maizie, Cazden, and Langston Christensen; great-grandchildren, Brody Peterson, Hannah, Carter and Ryker Sailer and Adley and Nora Burbach; siblings, Leona Conrad of Ponca, NE, Kenneth (Helen Ann) Hall of Ponca, NE, Gary Hall of Kearney, NE and Ben Hall of Ponca, NE; and brother-in-law, Werner Koeppe of Dumas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Doris Hall; his wife, Julie Hall in 2007; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice Koeppe, Judy (George) Traudt, Jean (Ward) Linscott, Phyllis (Larry) Addison, Peggy Beckner and Kenneth Conrad. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ponca, NE with Father Andrew L. Sohm officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Calvary Cemetery in Newcastle, NE. Visitation with the family present will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., with a scriptural wake service at 7:00 P.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ponca.
